We represent the new competition "The British manor". In two weeks will be determine the most beautiful manor in whole Britain. The winners will be awarded with great prizes. Here you can add your manor in list of participants and read rules of marking system.

Administration of The Abyss server from moment of publishing this news now deny to buy-sell game characters, game accounts, in-game items and game money for real or virtual monetary units, which equal to real money in game, at forum or chat. This rule don't deny players to make such deals, but deny to discuss buying-selling using server's information channels (UO, forum, chat). Neccesary changes are at rules, added new point 4.11.

For infringement of this rule your accounts in game and forum will be deleted.

Lord Blakthorn?s elite army was destroyed under the Cove city. There were about 50 warriors on his side, and about 100-150 on Lord British?s side. Britania citizens striked Blackthorn?s army down. GM Sunrise was making some shots from battle (thanx god she?s alive): 1 (ninja warriors approaching), 2 (Blackthorn?s army), 3 (British?s army), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (port?s defense), 10 (Blackthorn?s army is surrounded and is almost destroyed), 11, 12, 13.

Let's see the results of "The miner - strategists II":

Not everything went as smooth, as we planned. There were 150 characters and we got lack of place for participients. Here are some results:

First place goes to Pavel (4245 points).
Second place goes to tytka (3537 points).
Third place goes to Mino (2867 points).

Congratulations! Thanks to all for participating. It was the most crowded measure in shards history, so i can say we've got a miner's shard, not PvP :)

To day at 24:00 (GMT +03:00) will be competition named as "The miner - strategist II".

Short information:

For only 10 minutes you should mine as many ore as you can.
For each type of ore you will gain curtain amount of points.
Winners will get best pickaxes of Britain!

Rules:

To take part in competition you should wear only a spellbook and stay at market. It is forbidden to flood there, attack another players, give ore to other players, etc.


Now in Wastelands removed auto ressurection after death. Delucia city now has a guard zone. In Wastelands you can mine and hack trees. Cost of visiting Delucia and Papua through Travel Stone is 50 gp.

One and a half years has passed after last fight between Goods and Evil. Seemed, that war has been finished, but it proceeded each day and each minute. Two governors annoyed each others.Blackthrone burning cotton fields, leaving half of inhabitants of Britain earnings for half year, and British entice elite warrior - Vampires on the side of Paladins, by promising carefree and quiet life. But early or later this should be finished. Three days back at night silent and harmless Cove was attacked by elite group of Vampire and they has practically wiped out this small town, which like all fishermen. Lord British was heart-broken. Because at this moment in Cove at the moment of an attack his native nephew had a rest. Today British has dispatched to all commanders of armies dispatches with following text:

"The Soldier of the Holy Shield! Lord Blackthrone again began attacks to peace cities of Britain! If you have power and weapon, join to armies on clearing Cove city, from Blackthrone's Vampires."

Attack is planned on 27 April at 20:00 (GMT +03:00). The battle will be without looting.

In Wednesday at 24:00 (GMT +03:00) will be competition named as "The miner - strategist II". Rules will be announce at Wednesday.

For houskeepers: don't use houses for fences. It is better to surround base completely with fence and there shouldn't be any part of house outside. This is special for that ones who has crosses of anti-magic fields of houses. Also don't place fences close to water. Try to keep distance from water to fence at 5 squares minimum. You can find this advice at "Important Information". Information about correct and wrong closing of north-west corner added to Shard features section "Houses and ships.
